Lauffer Group’s bread-baking plants in Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts demonstrated the stable operating results and, in general, retained the production output in this marketing year.
“For the marketing year 2017-2018 seven bread-baking plants of Lauffer Group located in Mariupol, Pokrovsk, Druzhkovka, Severodonetsk, Selidovo, Konstantinovka and Kurakhovo produced 33 thousand tons of baked goods represented in 2730 outlets, says the chief executive of Lauffer Group Vitalii Balykhin. – This volume of production has allowed keeping the leading position in Donbass. The market share in the segment of the industrial producers in the region made 60%.
During the year the enterprises increased the range of products in the region to 316 items, 16 of which are novelties. The average wage at the enterprises was increased by 21% as well.”
Owing to the efforts and socially responsible price policy, Lauffer Group’s enterprises in Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts managed to retain affordable bread prices. Thus, the average consumer price for the best-selling popular wheat bread produced by the company of first grade flour makes 13.46 UAH per 1 kg. As a comparison: on average, in Ukraine popular wheat bread produced of first grade flour is more expensive by 13% – 15.14 UAH per 1 kg.
“The Group’s enterprises in Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts have a huge social burden. We do not even have the right to consider options for raising prices for the entire line of breads, says Vitalii Balykhin. In every possible way we support those who have suffered from the war, we work with volunteers, we help the army. Lauffer is the only company which delivers bread to the towns located directly on the demarcation line.”
The assortment of breads of TM Urozhai includes the popular varieties, the advance in the prices for which is minimal. This is Domashnii bread (wheat) 0.6 kg, Stolichnyi bread 0.6 kg (wheat), Uspenskii bread 0.7 kg (wheat), Darnitskii bread (rye-wheat), Obedennyi hearth bread of first grade 0.6 kg and Dobryi tinned bread 0.5 kg (wheat). 4 of 22 items of bread (about 26%) can be classified as high-quality affordable bread.
